Overview

Gutters that actually carry the water away

Gutters fill up faster than most people think — moss washing down off the roof, wind-blown leaves, roofing grit and the silt it all breaks down into. Once a gutter's full it stops doing its one job: instead of carrying water away it spills it down the wall, and that's where damp, green staining and blown plaster start.

We clear residential gutters across Colne, Nelson, Burnley and the surrounding villages — by hand where we can reach them safely, and by high-reach vacuum where we can't. Either way you get before-and-after photos of every run, so you're not just taking our word for it.

What's included

Exactly what you get on the day

  • All gutters cleared

Every run emptied of moss, leaves, silt and debris — front, back and any awkward extension or flat-roof gutters.

  • Downpipes flushed

Outlets and downpipes checked and flushed through so water runs freely all the way to the drain.

  • Debris bagged and removed

What comes out of the gutters goes with us — we don't leave a pile of wet moss on your borders.

  • Hand or vacuum, whatever suits

Safe hand-clearing from ladders where access allows, or gutter-vac from the ground for higher or trickier properties.

  • A quick check while we're up there

We'll flag any loose brackets, cracked joints or slipped tiles we spot — no pressure, just a heads-up.

  • Before-and-after photos

Photos of each gutter before and after, so you can see the job's actually been done.

Common questions

Questions we get asked

Can't see what you need? Give us a ring on 07486 534895 — happy to talk it through, no obligation.

How often should I have my gutters cleaned?

Once a year is right for most homes — ideally in autumn once the leaves are down. If you've got trees close by or a lot of roof moss, twice a year keeps you ahead of it. We can set up a regular slot so you don't have to remember.

Do you need access to the back garden?

Yes — we'll need to reach the gutters all the way round, so access to the rear and any side passages is helpful. If it's gated, just leave it unlocked or let us know; we can usually work around tight access with the vacuum system.

Will you make a mess?

No. Everything that comes out of the gutter is bagged and taken away, and we clear up any bits that drop. You shouldn't be able to tell we've been, other than gutters that finally work again.

Can you clean gutters on a bungalow, or a two- or three-storey house?

All of them. Lower properties we'll often do by hand; for two and three storeys, or anywhere access is awkward, the high-reach vacuum lets us clear the gutters safely from the ground with no ladders against the house.

What if you find something wrong up there?

We'll tell you, show you a photo, and give you an honest steer on whether it needs doing now or can wait. There's no obligation — plenty of cleans turn up nothing, and we'll happily say so.
