Overview

Catch the small problem before it's a big bill

Nearly every expensive guttering problem starts as a cheap one that nobody caught. A gutter blocks, overflows through a wet winter, and by spring you've got damp walls, rotten fascias or blown plaster — repairs that cost many times what a yearly clean would have. A maintenance plan is simply staying ahead of that.

We put homes and businesses across Colne, Burnley and the Ribble Valley on a regular clear-and-check — once or twice a year depending on the property and the trees around it. You get a reminder when it's due, priority booking, and photos each visit, so your gutters are sorted before the bad weather instead of after the damage.

What's included

Exactly what you get on the day

  • Scheduled visits

An annual or twice-yearly slot, timed for after leaf-fall and before winter — booked in so you don't have to think about it.

  • A full clear every visit

Gutters, outlets and downpipes cleared and flushed each time, with the debris taken away.

  • Condition check

Brackets, joints, seals and downpipes checked while we're up there, so small faults are caught before they leak.

  • A written heads-up

If something needs attention you get a photo and an honest note on whether it's do-now or watch-it — no scare tactics.

  • Priority booking

Plan customers go to the front of the queue, including if something does go wrong between visits.

  • No call-out charge

As a plan customer there's never a charge just for us to come out and take a look.

Common questions

Questions we get asked

Can't see what you need? Give us a ring on 07486 534895 — happy to talk it through, no obligation.

How often will you come out?

Most homes are fine on one visit a year, timed for autumn once the leaves are down. Properties with a lot of trees or heavy roof moss, and most commercial roofs, are better on twice a year. We'll recommend what suits your property — you're not tied to more than you need.

What does a maintenance plan cost?

Less than you'd think, and far less than the damp repair it prevents. It's a fixed price per visit based on the size and access of your property, with no call-out charges on top. We'll quote it clearly before you commit to anything.

Am I tied into a long contract?

No. It's a simple rolling arrangement — we remind you when a visit's due and you're free to stop whenever you like. Most customers stay because it quietly does its job, not because they're locked in.

Do you do this for businesses as well as homes?

Yes. Landlords, letting agents, factories, farms and commercial premises all use our plans — it's the easiest way to keep on top of guttering across one property or many. For larger commercial roofs, see our commercial gutter cleaning service.

What happens if a gutter fails between visits?

You go to the front of the queue and there's no call-out charge to come and look. Catching problems early is the whole point of the plan, but if something does go wrong in between, you're covered for a prompt visit.
